Before application, please read the safety instructions and conduct an allergy test. It is not recommended to wash your hair 24-48 h prior to application. Put on the enclosed pair of gloves and protect your clothes by placing an old towel or cape around your shoulders. Place a clock to control the application time. Palette is applied on dry, not pre-washed hair.

Open the developer lotion bottle and pour out the contents into the glass or porcelain bowl. Open the tube and push the upper end of the cap through the membrane of the tube and add the Color Cream to the developer lotion. Mix well (do not use metal objects) until all components are thoroughly mixed.

For very short hair, mix only half of the tube & developer lotion. If your hair is longer than chin length, we recommend the use of two packs Palette Natural Colors.

For regrowth-application, mix only half of the tube & developer emulsion.

This application is recommended if

• you are coloring/lightening your hair permanently for the first time, or
• your previous hair color has totally grown out, i.e., no regrowth is visible.

1. Apply the mixture on dry hair, starting at the nape
   of the neck with the help of a brush.
   It is not recommended to wash your hair 24-48 h prior to application.
   Leave about 2 cm free at the hair roots. Apply the coloring/lightening mixture evenly throughout the hair. Then apply the mixture on the hair roots as well.
2. Leave the mixture for 30 minutes.
   

For lightening shades L6-0, 10-0, 10-1, 10-2, 12- 19, 12-1 and 10-4 let the mixture work between 30-45 minutes depending on the color result intensity you would like to achieve.

• your hair is already colored/lightened permanently and a regrowth is visible, or
• your hair tips are darker or in poor condition.

1. Apply the mixture on dry hair with the help of a brush on the regrowth area only. It is not recommended to wash your hair 24 – 48 h prior to application.
2.  Leave the mixture on regrowth area for 20 minutes. For lightening shades E20, C10, C12, C9, A10, A12, CI12 and CV12, let the mixture work between 30 – 40 minutes (for shade E20: 30 – 45 minutes and for shades LW3, LRN5, LG5: 20 – 30 minutes), depending on the color result intensity you would like to achieve
3. Distribute it evenly throughout the hair using a comb with widely spaced teeth.
   20: Do not distribute it through the whole length of the hair, only apply to the roots.
4.  Leave for further 10 minutes. Lightening shades E20, C10, C12, C9, A10, A12, CI12 and CV12: leave for 5 minutes only.
   

Rinse the hair well once the exposure time has finished until water runs clear.

Apply the Nourishing Conditioner into wet hair. Allow to work for 2 minutes and rinse out thoroughly.

Suggestion: For visibly long-lasting color freshness and shine, we recommend to use Schauma Color Shine Shampoo and Conditioner.
