1. Separate the hair into manageable sections. Use plastic clips to avoid overlapping hair if needed. Back comb the hair up to the level where you will apply the lightening mixture, by holding the tips with your fingers. This will ensure an intense result in the tips, with a gradual and smooth upward fading.

2. Spread the lightening mixture into the tips of the hair, working your way up, and insisting somewhat on the tips, without smoothing or combing down the hair.

3. Repeat the same application for the other hair sections. Leave in for 30–40 min for 912 Sunkissed Blond, and 20–30 min for 913 Honey Balayage.

1. Part your hair in a diagonal line pointing upwards. The line should begin approximately 3 to 5 cm from your usual hair parting. Fix the upper section of the hair with a plastic clip.

2. To begin application, hold the hair down with one hand to avoid hair getting caught in the brush. Using the Expert Accents Brush, apply the lightening mixture in a 1–2 cm broad line, starting from the roots of the parting and going downward. Apply the lightener until approximately 1 cm from the hairline. Apply as evenly as possible, including in the less visible areas near the back of the head. Try to keep at least one hand clean, to avoid unwanted lighter patches when folding the hair over to the next section. After undoing the plastic clip holding the top part of the hair, separate a new strand.

3. Apply the mixture on the strand, using the hair underneath to visualize the application area. It helps to pat down the hair with your fingers to let the lightening mixture come through from underneath. Do not continue to apply from the roots with the next hair sections as this will not create the desired effect. Repeat application process as described, strand by strand until you reach the usual parting.

4. Leave in for 30–40 min for 912 Sunkissed Blond, and 20–30 min for 913 Honey Balayage.

1. Trace a zig zag parting in your hair to avoid a patchy result.

2. Glide the Applicator Bottle evenly along your dry hair ensuring an even amount of mixture is applied from root to tip. Leave in for 30–40 min for 912 Sunkissed Blond, and 20–30 min for 913 Honey Balayage.
