Blonde Hair is the Trend
Streaks are yesteryear’s fashion. Today, going blonde all over and all the way has become a fashion statement. Cool blonde times are upon us again. Blondes on the catwalks predominantly wear platinum and ash blonde as the fashion hair colours for this spring

In Germany, blonde is the most coveted and most cherished hair colour. Blondes and blondes-in-waiting account for the lion’s share of German hair salon sales. Blonde hair comes in many different shades, and this gives women endless opportunities to individualise their blonde hair colour. Streaks can be skilfully placed to create the appearance of more volume, and uncounted blonde colour choices exist between platinum and dark blonde. Everything is possible and everything is allowed.
If you want to join the in-crowd this season, you should take your hints from models with extremely light blonde manes who parade the fashion designed by Balenciaga and Chanel on catwalks everywhere. These models are particularly cool in comparison with the models wearing everyone’s other favourite fashion colour black. We saw these black-haired models at the fall/winter shows featuring the styles of Bottega Veneta and Calvin Klein.
In 2009, the spectacular blonde hair of Agyness rang in a platinum blonde era. A year later in New York, ‘space blondes’ were the talk of the town and enchanted the audience. Especially captivating was Jil Sander whose completely bleached hair perfectly matched her understated style.
To join the new blonde trend you must bleach your entire hair. You can do this at home but should adhere to the recommended colour development time to avoid shocking surprises.
